Karachi Interbank Offered Rate
The Karachi Interbank Offered Rate, commonly known as KIBOR, is a daily reference rate based on the interest rates at which banks offer to lend unsecured funds to other banks in the Karachi wholesale (or interbank) money market. KIBOR determines the interest rate at which you can avail a bank loan. The interest rate on most credit products are determined based on KIBOR i.e. KIBOR+5pc.
